Where is the market held?
The Hill & Ridge Community Market takes place at the Red Hill Recreation Reserve & Showgrounds, 184 Arthurs Seat Road, Red Hill 3937. We’re open on the first Saturday of the month, September through May.
What are the market hours?
The market runs from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
Is there an entry fee?
No, entry to the Hill & Ridge Community Market is free.
Where can I park?
Parking is available within the reserve and surrounding paddocks, managed by the Red Hill Lions Club. A small $5 fee applies, with all proceeds supporting local community projects. Please avoid roadside parking, as inspectors may be present.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Friendly dogs on a short lead are welcome (we even have stalls just for them). Water bowls are available around the reserve. Please remember to clean up after your dog.
Is there an ATM onsite?
There are no ATMs at the market. Please bring cash if you prefer, though the good news is that all stallholders also accept card payments.
Are there accessible toilets onsite?
Yes, the reserve is accessibility-friendly, with accessible toilet facilities available.
Is the market on if it rains?
Yes, the market runs in all weather. If conditions are deemed unsafe, we may cancel for safety reasons. For updates, please check our social media channels.
Can I get there by public transport?
Unfortunately, there are no public transport options to Red Hill. We recommend carpooling with friends or family where possible.
